John McCann:

Co-founder & Market Development

Prior to co-founding Protégé, John was a Regional Sales Director for WWP/Ciena representing Carrier Class Ethernet Products into the Central and Eastern European Market place. Prior to this, John held various Technical Managerial/Directorships with companies such as Infinera, Juniper and Unisphere to name but a few.

Andrew Robinson:

Co-founder & Project Manager

Andrew Robinson founded Paradigm, Protégé sister company, in 1993, after successful appointments at Montin International, Kramer Westfield and Austin Benn. With over 20 years industry experience, delivering resourcing solutions to major blue chip clients and startup companies. Andrew also advises Venture Capital companies, US and Asian start ups on how to develop resourcing strategies for the EMEA region.

Prior to his career in the recruitment industry, Andrew spent 5 years in the retail sector with the John Lewis Partnership, where he held various managerial positions. Andrew has adopted and enhanced many of the Partnership’s values and ethos of Integrity, Honesty and Service Delivery to the recruitment industry and is constantly striving to raise the bar on delivery and overall satisfaction for both clients and candidates.

Andy Charalambous:

Board Member

Prior to setting up, Protégé Andy was the VP of International sales for Worldwide Packets where he inherited 1 Account and $1m revenue stream. By the time the acquisition took place by Ciena this had grown to 12 accounts and a $15m revenue stream. Prior To WWP Andy was the VP & General Manager for Marconi Data Networks Division with responsibility for a $500m turnover with key wins under his tenure with BT, Telecom Italia, Cable & Wireless, Telefonica, Telenor, Belagom, KPN, Versatel, Vodafone, T Mobile O2, Deutch Telecom and others with a view to providing Marconi data solutions including their access optical and radio portfolio. Other significant wins were C&W, BT, Telecom Italia, Telstra, Kingston Communication, ERA GSM Poland, Wilhelm Tell Germany, and Saudi Telecom amongst others. Prior to this Andy held other Board positions with Orchetsream, Unisphere, Tellabs and Anite Networks.

Dan Prescott

Advisor

Dan has spent over 20 years in translating innovative technologies into business opportunities. He has directed the successful start-up of numerous technology companies including co-founding OpenSystems, Inc., Breakwater Technologies, NetGranite, and most recently, Agile Sales. His experience has spanned the Telecommunication, Information Technologies, Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, and Transportation industries both nationally and internationally. From mission critical enterprise applications and platforms, to embedded device software, he has built and managed sales organizations, distribution channels, operations for his own companies, as well as the companies he has worked for.
